About the School
Shanghai Southwest Weiyu Middle School (SWWY) was founded in 1993, it is a private co-educational secondary school with 3 campuses in Shanghai. It provides high-quality education for nearly 3200 students from grade 6 to 12 in academic year 2018-2019, with 2900 students studying the National Gaokao Curriculum, and 282 studying in the international curriculum from grade 10 to 12. It is one of the top 10% among the total of over 240 high schools in Shanghai.
About the International Division
The SWWY International Division has started its cooperation with local American schools since 2013, and our current partner school is The Independent School in Wichita, Kansas, the joint program aims to provide a superior independent college preparatory education in a safe and supportive community conducive to the intellectual, emotional, and physical growth of each independent student. The students will earned a jointed high school diploma awarded by both SWWY International Division and TIS by satisfying the graduation requirements.
